NORTHERN CORPORATION LIMITED

Established in 1987, Northern Corporation Limited is a composite knit apparel items manufacturing unit. The factory produces 5 tons of knitting and 12 tons of dyeing and finishing per day, resulting in 4 million minutes in a month. The turnover of the factory in 2010/11 fiscal year was 22 million USD. It is an ISO 9001:2000, Oekotex Standard 100 and Organic Control Certified factory. The factory stands on an 110,000 square feet of space with 1800 people working for it.

FASHION ASIA LIMITED

With USD 12.5 million yearly turnover, Fashion Asia Limited is a factory with knit apparel items production unit, producing t-shirts, polo shirts, tank tops, dresses, leggings, sportswear etc. since the year 2000. The factory is situated at Tongi on a 30,000 square feet space. The production minutes of the factory is 3 million minutes per month.

NORTHERN FASHION

Established in 2001 at Gazipur, Northern Fashion is an ISO 9001 and Oekotex 100 certified factory with USD 16 million yearly turnover. The factory produces 4 tons of knitting and 10 tons of dyeing and finishing per day, resulting in 2.8 million minutes of sewing per month by its 1500 employees. The factory stands on a 90,000 square feet area.

TOSRIFA INDUSTRIES LIMITED

1600 people are working day and night at Tosrifa Industries Limited, a composite knit apparel items manufacturing unit situated at Tongi on an 111,800 square feet space. The factory was established in 2002 and has a turnover of USD 14 million per year. The ISO 9001:2008 and Oekotex Standard 100 certified factory is under process of receiving the ISO 14001 certificate and produces 10 tons of knitting per day and 3.3 million minutes of sewing per month.

EURO PRINTERS

A joint venture with (Name of the Belgian company), Belgium, Euro Printers was established in 2004 and is presently the biggest automated garment printing company in Bangladesh. Located in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Euro Printers uses 5 high-tech Auto Carousel Printing Machines and 3 automated high quality curing and drying machines for a capacity of 50,000 pieces per day. The yearly turnover of the printer is USD 2.1 million.

PRINTERS AND PRINTERS LIMITED

This Oekotex Standard 100 certified company was established in 2005 at Tongi for garments screening, transferring, sublimation and embroidery for in-house productions only. With printing capacity of around 25,000 pieces per day and embroidery capacity of 2000 pieces per day with 1000 stitches per body, the factory delivers to both foreign and local buyers. The yearly turnover of the company is USD 1.09 million.

GARMENTS INDUETRY MANUFACTURING ACADEMY (GIMA)

At Northern Group, we like to give back to the society. As an initiative, we have established GIMA in 2006 to train unskilled people into skilled human resources. Some of the advanced courses offered at GIMA are- Work Study, Industrial Engineering, Mid-Management Training, Social Compliance Training, Operator Training, Supervisor Training, Quality Training, etc.
